Training
Training is held on the first, third, and fourth Mondays of every month at 7:00 p.m. with direction from the Fire Chief, the Training Officer along with the other Company officers setup training exercises for the members to practice fundamental and advanced firefighting operations which can consist of vehicle extrication, hose advancements, ladders, search and rescue, just to name a few. Each month the firefighters put about 12 or more hours in training, maintenance, and record keeping, in addition to responding to fire calls.
We also respond to other emergencies which include Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Natural Gas conditions, Water conditions, and also the most popular Cat stuck in a tree. We train as a customer service Fire Company, because our first priority is our residents of South Park. Below are a few links to pictures of our Training Nights
